Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us for using AstraCode.
Effective 1 October 2026
Who you are agreeing with
AstraCode is operated by Vanarx Tech Inc., a corporation registered in Delaware, United States. These terms govern your use of the AstraCode editor, the astracode.io website, and the API behind them. Using any of them means you accept these terms.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind that company.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password and your API keys to yourself; anything done with a valid credential is treated as done by you.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
One person, one account. An organisation account may have as many members as it has seats.
What you may and may not do
Use AstraCode to write software. That is what it is for.
Do not resell access, share one account across a team to avoid seat charges, or put our API behind a product of your own without a written agreement.
Do not use it to produce malware, to attack systems you do not own, or for anything unlawful where you are.
Do not attempt to extract, mirror or benchmark the underlying models through our API in order to train a competing service.
Your code stays yours
You keep every right in the code you write and in the code the agent writes for you. We claim no ownership of it and no licence to it beyond what is needed to run the request you asked for.
AI-generated output is not guaranteed to be original, correct, or free of third-party rights. Review it before you ship it, exactly as you would review a colleague's pull request.
Plans, requests and overage
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Each plan includes an allowance counted in requests. For requests on the allowance, AstraOne chooses the model.
On plans that allow it, you may add your own provider API key and choose a model yourself. Those requests go to your provider account, under your agreement with that provider, and are not counted against your allowance.
When the allowance runs out, requests stop. Nothing beyond the allowance is charged unless you switch overage on AND have a payment method on file. Both are required, so neither of us can spend alone.
Team plans are billed per seat. Adding a member changes the amount at your next invoice, prorated by Stripe.
Changing or cancelling
You may change or cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard. There is no retention call and no notice period.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the period you have already paid for; see the refund policy.
We may change prices. If we do, we will tell the account owner by email before the change applies to them, and the change never applies to a period already paid.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, that is the subject of a chargeback, or that we are legally required to suspend. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.
Third-party services
Requests are routed to model providers, payments are handled by Stripe, and you may connect services such as GitHub. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for how they behave.
MCP servers you or your organisation configure are software you chose. They run on your machine, under your account, and we do not review them.
No warranty
AstraCode is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be correct or fit for any particular purpose.
It is a tool that writes code. It gets things wrong. Nothing in it removes your responsibility to review, test and understand what you ship.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will email the account owner before it applies.
Continuing to use AstraCode after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of the State of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
